The 4I approach is designed to support the design of a human centric enterprise innovaion management initiatives. The approach is linking both the innovation fostering people centric approach, the enterprise innovation interactive initiative design canvas spaces and our understanding of the different team persona’s categorized in the team inventiveness persona distribution curve.
The main goal is to guarantee that all the needed pre-requisites are in place at the proper time. This is done through linking the 4I four main pillars with the different enterprise innovation space as follows:
- Inspire is linked to the Seeding Space. Inspire is the result of human desirability combined with Business Viability.
- Ideate is linked to the Get Space. Ideate is the result of human desirability combined with Technical Feasibility.
- Implement is linked to Build Space. Implement is the result of Business Viability combined with Technical Feasibility.
- Impact is linked to Impact Space. Impact represent the total sum of the output from the three space (Seeding Space, Get Space and Build Space)
